Introducing: One to One Hair and Makeup Classes!
I am so excited to bring you my one to one makeup, and braiding classes! I have put together a small selection of four classes, that can be completely tailored to your needs, whether you're getting married, going to prom, or just want to learn how to get the most out of your makeup routine.
The four classes I have put together are:
Learn How to do your own Wedding Makeup
Learn How to do your own Every Day Makeup
Learn How to do your own Prom Makeup
Learn How to Braid
I have been thinking about offering classes for a while now. Every time I have exhibited at a wedding fair, I have been asked about whether I offer makeup lessons, and because I had never really sat down and thought about it, I have never really known what to say. I then also decided that I wanted to be able to offer a simple hair styling workshop, not exclusive to anyone, but specifically with parents in mind to show them some easy braiding tricks to keep their children's hair under control, and looking neat and tidy.
The Wedding and Prom makeup lessons will run in a similar way to a trial, establishing the look you want to learn, taking inspiration from the dress you have chosen, your venue, flowers, and any other aspect of the day that needs to be considered. You will also learn how to apply your makeup for your face shape, colouring, and skin type, to make sure you get the most out of your makeup on your Wedding or Prom day. The Every Day makeup lesson will teach you how to work with your skin type, face shape and colouring to create a simple routine that works for you. I will then also teach you some simple tricks to transform your every day makeup into something more dramatic for the evening. In each of the makeup classes you will have full access to my professional kit so you can take inspiration from the products I use.
In the Braiding lesson, you will learn some key, simple braiding techniques including a traditional 3 strand braid, the difference between french and dutch braiding, mermaid braiding, and how to take a simple braid and create intricate looking updo's that take seconds! I'll bring my dolly head, along with my favourite styling tools, to allow you to practice without the pressure of a moving target.
I hope this has been useful if you do have any questions (about the classes, or anything else!) please don't hesitate to get in touch with me!
